Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Barrister Masood Kausar has urged the people to come together as a global community, across continents, across faiths and cultures, to renew our commitment to eliminate the Aids pandemic once and for all. This he said in a message on the eve of World Aids Day. Complete text of the message is given below.

"World Aids Day is observed on 1st December every year world-wide. The Primary objective is to raise awareness amongst people, those who are affected as well as those who are not. The spreading of awareness regarding HIV/QAIDs is extremely vital even in today's world, when we consider that medical science has progressed and people have enhanced awareness levels. The focus of the World Aids Day is to demonstrate solidarity through private and public partnership and programmes. There are countries and pockets around the world where people are falling prey to this endemic mostly due to lack of awareness.
